How does Kamaiyo make money?
Retailers pay us a commission for sending them a customer. We keep part of it to run the platform and pass the rest to you as cashback. You're never charged, and prices at the store are exactly what they'd be if you went there directly.
When does my cashback actually arrive?
It shows as pending within a few hours of your order. It becomes withdrawable once the retailer confirms the order wasn't cancelled or returned — typically 30 to 90 days, depending on the store's return window.
Do I need to upload receipts?
No. As long as you tapped through from Kamaiyo before checking out, tracking is automatic. If an order doesn't appear within 72 hours, raise a missing-cashback claim from your orders page and we'll chase the retailer for you.
Can I still use coupons and bank offers?
Yes — cashback stacks on top of both. The one exception is a coupon from outside our listed codes that the retailer treats as a different referral source, which can override tracking. When in doubt, use the codes listed on the store's Kamaiyo page.
Why is my cashback less than the rate shown?
Headline rates are maximums. Most retailers pay different rates per category, and commission is calculated on what you actually paid after discounts — never on GST, shipping or gift-wrap charges. Exact tiers are on each store's page.
